Our Definition of “Gifted/Talented Children​”

At Ying Wa Primary School, we  believe that every child is talented in their own way. As educators, our aim is to foster and nurture these gifts by providing diverse platforms for them to shine. This enables students to not only appreciate and understand each other's talents, but also encourages them to explore and embrace their own abilities.

By celebrating and acknowledging these talents, we empower students, boosting their confidence, self-esteem, and cultivating positive mindsets. Whether a student's gifts are easily recognized or more hidden, our teachers are committed to uncovering and amplifying their potential, ensuring that every child is heard and seen.

We firmly believe that each and every child possesses their own special qualities and abilities. With our guidance and support, every student at YWPS has the opportunity to shine in their own way, channeling their talents towards their desired goals.
